The senior adults of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church are seniors in age only. Our desire for life, enthusiasm, free spirit, humor and service is envied by many who are much younger. The activity and state of mind is representative in the name of the senior adult group at PGBC.

The Group is made up of men and women who have reached the golden age of 55 and beyond. Activities for senior adults are scheduled by the Senior Adult Ministry Council and published on the church calendar. All seniors are invited to join us. See below for our scheduled activities and future plans.

Senior Adults trip to the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh in June.  Our guided tour began around 10 AM. We were treated to many beautiful sites — as you can see from some of the photos below. If you are thinking of a trip to the cathedral, you will find that it will be well worth it. The group finished out the morning with lunch at the Farmer’s Market restaurant. After lunch, some members elected to stay and shop at the market while others decided to call it a day and come home. We had a fun day and enjoyed the company of good friends.
