Rev. Jack Lee, Senior Pastor
Jack was born and raised in Logan, WV. In 1985, the family moved to Statesville, NC where he eventually met Lisa. They were married November 26, 1988. Mary Elisabeth is an added blessing to complete the Lee family.
Jack is a graduate of: Fruitland Baptist Bible College; Wingate University; Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Lisa is a graduate of: Mitchell Community College (2 degrees); East Carolina University; and a recent graduate with a masters degree from NC State in December 2015.
The Lee family hobbies include, but not limited to: golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, reading books, taking walks, and other Mary activities.

Rev. Rick Carter
Minister of Music and Pastoral Care
Rick came to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in August, 2004. Rick is a graduate of Gardner-Webb College in Boiling Springs, NC, now Gardner Webb University, in 1974 with a bachelors degree in Music, with an emphasis in Church Music. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Wake Forest and completing the Master of Religious Education degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
During this time, Rick has served churches in North Carolina and Texas in various combinations of service, including music, youth, education and pastoral ministries.
Joyce, Rick’s wife, serves in many areas of church ministry. Professionally, she is a Speech Pathologist working primarily with adults. Their son, Jacob, is a student at Campbell University on the track team. Rick also has two other sons, Nathan living in Austin, Texas and Seth and his wife, Leslie, who live in Fuquay-Varina with their daughters, Aubrey, Reagan and Cameron.
The Carter’s live in eastern Wake County near Knightdale.

William Bryan LeRoy (Toby)
Minister of Youth and Young Adults
Toby was born and raised in South Georgia where he was taught to love the Lord and all outdoor sports including but not limited to: hunting, fishing, skiing (both water and snow), football, volleyball, tennis, golf, baseball, etc. Toby plays guitar and sings with a love to lead worship. He has been saved since he was 17 and called to full time ministry since shortly after his conversion. He married Christy in 2001 and they have two sons: Judah, age six and Andrew who is two years old. They have lived in Wake Forest since 2009 and Toby has been a student at SEBTS since 2010.
