Evangelist C. Paul Jones was born in Robeson County, North Carolina on February 12, 1940. In 1957, while living in Jacksonville, Florida, he was converted to Christ as Lord and Savior. Paul answered the call to preach the gospel in January of 1961, and in February, 1984, he obeyed the call to full-time evangelism.

Rev. Jones is married to the former Faye Avery of Bunnlevel, North Carolina. They are the parents of four children—three daughters and one son. They have been blessed with eleven grandchildren!

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from William Carey College, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and received his theological education and seminary training at the Baptist Bible Institute, Graceville, Florida. Before entering full-time evangelism, Paul had served as a pastor for 24 years. His last pastorate was at Piney Grove Baptist Church of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina where he served for 16 years.

Rev. Jones has preached over 600 revival crusades in America and has preached in 12 other countries. He is President of Command Evangelism, Inc., a nonprofit 50l(C)(3) religious ministry that focuses on church needs, church revivals, mission trips, special projects, helping the needy and leading trips to Israel. No one is on salary and all gifts are used for missions, projects and expenses.

William Bryan LeRoy (Toby)
Minister of Youth and Young Adults

I was born and raised in South Georgia where I was taught to love the Lord, all outdoor sports and UGA football (Go Dawgs!). I became a Christian at 17 and was called into ministry shortly after. Christy, my beautiful bride, and I met in college and were married in 2001. Today we have 2 sons: Judah & Andrew. We were both public school teachers in GA where I was a High School History & Geography teacher prior to moving to Wake Forest in 2009. I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2010-2014 and graduated with my Masters of Divinity. In July of 2013 I began working part time as youth pastor here at Pleasant Grove and have been here ever since. I enjoy the guitar and love to play and help lead in praise and worship. I also enjoy youth and young adults and have a love for their hearts and place in life. People are my passion and I enjoy ministering, fellowship and sharing life with those God has given me to shepherd.
